Welcome Back!

We are back in full swing!

On Monday we learned about George Washington. Many were very surprised to find out that he was older then our grandparents!

On Tuesday we started to learn about reading time and were really excited to test out our new skills!

Today through Friday is all about teeth. We talked about how sugar can create cavities and did an experiment to help us see what soda can do to our teeth. We put one hardboiled egg in water and a 2nd in cola for a couple of hours. The egg in the cola turned brown and started to crack! Boys and girls assured us that they wouldn’t be giving parents a hard time anymore about brushing their teeth after seeing the egg!
We have a very busy month coming upon us. Students have their 100’s project due on Tuesday. Students will also be asked to create a leprechaun trap. More information on this fun project will be sent home with the newsletter.
