The kids were amazing! No matter how much we practice, I am always blown away the day of the big show. The kids really give it their all for their family. It has been such a wonderful journey watching them practice all year and getting so excited for the show. And as I put together some of the pictures today for the slide show, I was truly in awe at how far the kids have come. They have grown so much this year.

I want to thank all the families for their very generous contributions to our celebration this afternoon. Everything was so yummy!

Can you believe that we only have 10 more days?!?!

Lots of New Dates!

Be sure to check out the calendar on our classroom website. There are a lot of new dates for activities going on over the next 3 weeks.

If your child does not have a Methuen library card, be sure to fill out the form and return it. They will issue the cards and we will send them home to you.

The Methuen Police Department will be doing fingerprint kits for the children. The kits will come home directly to you for keeping. Please fill out the forms and return them this week.

The kids have been working so hard on getting ready for the show this week. We have had several last minute changes of staging and moving around and the kids have handled it like real pros! We can't wait for you to see how awesome these kids are! It is always amazing to see all 150 kids up on stage. (and wait till you see our finale!)

Our class will be on the center on the 4th riser. The best place to sit in the auditorium is in the center section towards the right.

If any parents are able to take photos during the show,I would love copies.

After the show, parents will be invited back to the classrooms for a small celebration/open house. If you would like to contribute any food/juice, please feel free to do so and have your child bring it in on Wednesday morning. (we'll have it all set up and ready to share for after the show).

Thank you for all your continued support throughout the school year. It is hard to believe that it is almost time to move up to 1st grade!

Brooke Stone Farm State Park

We had an incredible time today on our field trip. After a long (and bumpy) bus ride we finally arrived. The kids started the day by exploring near a pond and seeing many things we talked about during our pond unit. They worked hard to collect items for a scavenger hunt. We also found many butterflies nearby. After lunch we went to feed some pigs, goats, sheep and chickens. And greeted some rabbits too. Soon it was our turn to visit the cows and see them up close. After smelling them all day, it was great to finally meet them. The baby cows were happy to see us and were very eager to give "kisses" to all the children. We also enjoyed some ice-cream while we were there. We were able to eat our ice-cream while watching the cows through a big glass window. We ended the day with one last exploration to the pond and found turtles, frogs, geese with their goslings and a mallard duck. By the end of the day everyone was exhausted (even the teachers)! Several boys and girls slept all the way home.

A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Whelan, Mr. Kuzlotsky and Mrs. Arrivillaga for joining us!

Here are some pictures of the things we saw. Be sure to check out our photo book after our kindergarten show. There will be some great ones of the kids to see.
