Apple Picking

Our class had an amazing time at Parlee Farms on Wednesday. We were very lucky to have 1 of the only sunny days this week. When we arrived, we took a small hayride to the apple orchard to pick our apples. There were so many to choose from. The kids were very excited to tell our farmer that they already knew how to “twist” the apples. While we waited for the tractor to come pick us up, we were able to munch on an apple. They were very tasty and juicy! Next we were able to pick our small pumpkins to bring home. There were so many to choose from! After a quick bite for lunch, many of the kids checked out the goats, sheep and bunnies. The goats were more then happy to have us feed them. It was fun to watch many of the kids feed goats for the first time. We finished up the day with some time in the hay maze.
I would like to thank Ms. Guerra, Ms. Briere, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Garcia, and Ms. Rosario for chaperoning.
